How does one translate a rock star image into the digital age? We had to tackle that tough question in this site for Lenny Kravitz, a promotional site for his new album "5" and all of his back music catalog. We were asked to make a site which could accomodate many frequently updated features and in addition still look fresh a year from now. Our solution was to make a fully featured DHTML website and a version for older browsers (you are transparently pushed to the version your browser can handle) Our DHTML design has a sophisticated, animated pop out menu. The Discography uses layers to allow visitors acces to audio and video clips from much of Lenny's music. Other features include the Gallery which offers up candid photos and video clips. We teamed up with Electric Artists and a2b Music to offer an internet exclusive music track and other online promotions. All of these things make LennyKravitz.com a very complete contemporary music artist site.
